QCBot ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What we collect

When you create an account we collect:

Your name and email address
Your subscription plan and usage count
Review history (filename, score, verdict — not the file itself)

2. Your uploaded files

We do not store your uploaded files. When you upload a PDF, image or video for review, the file is sent directly to Google's Gemini API for analysis and is permanently deleted from our servers immediately after the review is complete. We never store, read, share or retain your file content.

Google's handling of files sent to the Gemini API is governed by Google's API Terms of Service.

3. How we use your data

To provide and operate the QCBot service
To track your monthly review usage and enforce plan limits
To send important account emails (password reset, billing)
We never sell your data to third parties
We never use your data for advertising

4. Third party services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate QCBot:

Supabase — secure database and authentication
Google Gemini API — AI-powered file analysis
Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and subscriptions
Cloudflare — website hosting and security

5. Data security

Your account data is stored securely in Supabase with encrypted connections. Passwords are never stored in plain text. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings, which permanently removes all your data from our systems.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To make a request, contact us at support@qcbot.net.

8. Cookies

QCBot uses only essential cookies required for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
